Welcome to My Beaver Valley

The Beaver Valley has had a few aliases.  One being 'The Queen’s Valley' and of course the humorous name of 'Cuckoo Valley'.  Queen’s Valley may have erroneously derived from the Queen’s Bush, which was a tract of land lying beyond the western boundaries of Artemesia, Euphrasia & St. Vincent.  The Cuckoo Valley name was also erroneously attributed to the North American Indians of the area.  Most likely the name may be attributed to ornithologists, professional or amateur who recognized the cuckoos (birds not people, well…), which frequented this beautiful area.  No matter the case for its name, this valley has incredible richness in many of its corners
